Surrounding the door are seven oak-lined and cock-beaded drawers, all cross-banded in burr oak, which is repeated on the cupboard door. Around the base is a deep and heavy moulding, which continues around the front and sides. The dresser, which has single panel ends, stands on the original stile feet. The colour and surface are outstanding.
